Who am I?

Hi there! My name is Lucas Seidelin Rosenvold Christensen and I’m a Platform Engineer at a Danish company called Frameo. Day to day I work with:

• Linux
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Ansible
• Docker
• CI/CD

Before that, I was an apprentice at Siemens Gamesa, where I got my start with Kubernetes, Linux, and Ansible.

I’m still relatively new to the professional world, but I’m eager to learn and grow in my career. This blog is where I try to keep up with a field that changes constantly: I lab things out with AI-assisted learning, but mostly still try to do things the old-fashioned way, and document the journey here as I go.

As a junior in the field, I believe I should do my best to hone my own skills rather than rely entirely on AI even though I strongly believe it’s the future. I’m a firm believer in the saying “Shit in, shit out”: having a solid understanding of how systems and concepts like Kubernetes and SRE actually work will make me better at troubleshooting, and a better partner to my employer, to AI, to my colleagues, and to myself.
